Founded in 2024 by designer Mahnur Azam, PROJECT1959 is a Lahore-based jewellery house that merges sculptural forms with precious materials through intentional, sustainable design and meticulous artisan craftsmanship.
Encouraged from an early age by her parents to pursue individuality and creative freedom, Mahnur named the brand as a tribute to their enduring influence: 1959 marks her father’s birth year, while the logo draws inspiration from her mother’s favorite flower—a symbol of her gentle strength.
Her father’s unwavering support and courage empowered Mahnur to honour her mother’s legacy of grace and generosity. PROJECT1959 is her expression of that inheritance: a pursuit of beauty with conscience. Each creation is rooted in a deep respect for the environment, with sustainability not as a trend, but as a moral imperative—to give back to the Earth what it has so abundantly given.
